one medium to the other

This is a drawing I had done while on a train from Delhi to Ahmedabad.


And then for an elective course on Lithography where I experimented with Linocut also I tried to transfer the same thing for this medium. I must admit half an hour after starting out I was mad at myself to have chosen such a composition for a medium I was working with for the first time. And I went mad trying to figure out the white and black spaces, as in the while negative/positive space business. Messed my head! maybe later I'll upload the actual linocut (the linoleum sheet), not the print - which is actually what I like the most out of the three!
